Mr Chung No Longer Need to Worry about the Recuperation of his Health

You cannot see from Mr Chung’s face, aged 70, that he has liver cancer for about twelve years. “In 1996, I found that there was a 15 cm sized tumor in my liver. The doctor advised me to excise it.” He finally accepted the surgery because he worried that his wife had to take care of three children alone if he would died.

In 2006, the cancer cells became active again. He conducted a surgery to control the liver cancer but the cancer cells had already spread out to different parts of the body. Finally, he was confirmed that he had cancer in his bladder. Although bad news always surrounds Mr Chung, he faces the future with courage. He also seeks for proper medication.

Use Chinese Medicine to Recuperate the Health
As the liver no longer function properly, Mr Chung felt tired easily. He tried to visit Chinese Medicine practitioner. “I know I cannot cure the cancer, but I really feel better after taking the Chinese Medicine.” However, the expensive medical cost is a great burden for him because he had retired.

Haven of Hope Free Chinese Medicine Service
Knowing that the Haven of Hope has operated a Charity Chinese Medicine Clinic, Mr Chung visits the Chinese Medicine practitioner there. His financial burden was lessened greatly after using the Service. “The Haven of Hope is very considerate to those patients who have to undergo a long term Chinese Medicine treatment like me. I cannot imagine I can enjoy free consultations and drugs. Even the service is free, the service is still above the standard especially the attitude of the staff.” The recovery of Mr Chung is the motivation of the Haven of Hope to launch the Free Chinese Medicine Service. Indeed, bring hope and blessing to the patients are our service objectives.
