Donation by Estate Wishes/Legacy

Hong Kong people are familiar with fund-raising activities like charity sale, flag day, charitable lottery tickets, but unfamiliar with “legacy giving”. Through the operation of a will, a person can give, after his death, the whole or any part of his estate (may be cash, shares, products, properties, etc.), either on a one-off or regular basis, to those charitable organisations nominated. The charitable organisations can develop their services effectively through such a lump sum donation.
