What is Asperger Syndrome?
Asperger Syndrome is different from the general Autism patients. For those people with Asperger Syndrome, they are not resistant to interact with people, instead, they try their best to build up a normal social life. However, they find difficulties in understanding the non-language message and facial expression of other people.
Characteristics
- With problem in social life: difficulties in understanding the feeling and facial expressions of other people
- With problem in communications: he/she may have a good oral skill but is not keen on noticing the response of people. They normally ignore the response and feeling of other people and like to talk to himself/ herself
- Lack of imagination and it is difficult for them to think abstractly
- Have special hobbies; mainly develop stubborn interests like memorizing the train schedule, church size and structure, etc.
- Bad performance in handling the activities which need to coordinate the limbs
