How to realise whether my child have specific learning disabilities or not?
uSpecific Learning Disabilitiesv means there are defects in the area of cognitive learning, which due to the abnormal condition occurred in the brain and special biological and structural problems. Disabilities in writing, specific language, specific mathematics and non-language learning are common learning disabilities.
Characteristics
- Easy to forget the learnt words and cannot remember the simple words even after revision
- Easy to omit words and rows, as well as lost direction when reading
- Difficult to recognise, spell and pronounce the words and understand a passage
- Poor in direction, always omit or add extra strokes in the Chinese characters, easy to reverse the left and right part of the Chinese character
- Easy to feel tired and need extra effort in concentration to complete the homework
- Weak in pronunciation such as difficulties in recognising the rhyme words
