In the terminology of Chinese medicine, "Curing incubating disease" can be interpreted as curing disease which has affected some parts of the body, but not yet infected the whole person or the disease has not mutated. To the organs which may be infected, such disease is merely incubative.
From the perspective of Chinese medicine, curing incubating disease can be expressed in 3 facets: preventing illness when the person is in healthy conditions; suppressing the growth of disease at early stage; and instantly taking mitigating measures before the spread of disease to the entire body. Understanding these concepts is crucial for improving our health conditions.
